*Implemented changes to slip-slide control system of chopper-dc motor drive to resolve erratic performance
*Performed specification and design credit on interface problems of chopper propulsion and motor-alternator set
*Solved chopper problems of streetcars for Toronto Transit Commission
*Supervised analysis, design, development and testing of ac traction motors and converters
*Led engineering team on customer evaluation of linear induction motors and inverter units and magnetic levitation
*Conducted software audit for automatic train control of SkyTrain
*Directed design, development and testing of an Articulated Light Rail Vehicle for Toronto
*Led the successful trials for safety and reliability qualification of new automated transit system by US government agency
*Evaluated cab signaling for Edmonton Light Rail System
*Led study team for new design of trucks for London Transport
*Performed client supervision role for procurement of Maglev system
*Led team of UK/Canadian manufacturers in system engineering and preliminary design of Docklands Light Railway in London, England
